CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -
The fifth suspect in the murder of a 14-year-old Cleveland girl has been charged.
20-year-old Jeffrey L. McWhorter Jr., 20, was charged with aggravated murder and is scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 15.
McWhorter was wanted in the July 28 shooting death of 14-year-old Lataevia Williams. He was arrested late Thursday morning, and will be questioned by police.
Williams was shot to death outside a party on the border of Cleveland and East Cleveland. The shooting occurred following a fight outside of 1332 East 125th Street when multiple shooters fired into a crowd. The teen suffered a gunshot wound to the neck and died a short time later.
Four other suspects have also been arrested in this case.
