Sunday crash claims life of Letohatchee woman

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

A Letohatchee woman died Monday at UAB Hospital of injuries she received Sunday in a crash involving three vehicles.

Alabama State Troopers say the crash occurred at about noon Sunday on U.S. 31 five miles south of Hope Hull. 

Joyce Hall Maddox, 77, was driving a 2001 Lincoln Town Car that was involved in a crash with a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Abe Royal Wright, 58, of Hope Hull  and a 2008 Range Rover driven by Vickie Ann Wilsford, 48, also of Hope Hull.

Both Wright and Wilsford were injured and transported to local hospitals.

No additional information is available at this time as Troopers continue to investigate.
