ENTERPRISE, AL (WSFA) -

Flash Flood Warnings are still in effect for parts of Geneva and Coffee Counties this morning.

The National Weather Service has detected flash flooding from thunderstorms over the warned area. These slow moving storms have been producing rainfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour with total accumulations of up to 5 to 8 inches expected.

According to the Dale County EMA office 6.8 inches of rain has fallen in Daleville and 5.2 inches in Ozark.  There are no reports of major damage or injuries at this point.

There are reports of Highway 27 being closed between Ozark and Enterprise. Dixie Drive in the Forest Park subdivision of Enterprise was flooded and temporarily closed but has now been reopened.

As a result of the flooding and road closures, Geneva County officials say the county health department is also closed Tuesday.
