MONTGOMERY CO., AL (WSFA) -
A two-vehicle collision claimed the life of a 47-year-old man at the intersection of West Fairview Street and Hill Street Sunday morning.
Joseph Thomas Jr. was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident after his motorcycle collided with a Mercury Grand Marquis. The motorcycle passenger suffered life-threatening injuries and is being treated at a Montgomery area hospital. The identity of the passenger is not being released at this time.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
This is Montgomery's 13th traffic fatality this year.
