The Super 6 state football championships will continue alternating between Auburn and Tuscaloosa through 2020.
Alabama High School Athletic Association Executive Director Steve Savarese announced Wednesday that the two cities have extended their contracts, which initially ran through 2014.
Auburn will host this year's event Dec. 6-7 at Jordan-Hare Stadium. The Super 6 was held at Birmingham's Legion Field from 1996-2008.
Savarese says the extension "ensures that our student-athletes and schools will be afforded the experience of life-long memories."
They'll play at the University of Alabama's Bryant-Denny Stadium next in 2013.
