COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -
The third victim in this weekend's drowning has died. Family members tell News Leader 9 David Brown, 3, died after he was taken off life support Tuesday night at Egleston's Children's Hospital in Atlanta.
His mother, 30-year-old Crystal Brown, died while trying to save little David. She jumped in the river with his little brother, 11-month-old Mister Brown, in her arms.
A funeral for all three victims is scheduled to be held Saturday, August 25th at 4th Street Baptist Church in Columbus, GA. Family and friends will receive visitors on Friday, August 24 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Battle and Battle Funeral Home located at 434 S. Seale Road in Phenix City, AL.
