Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney raised more than $2 million during his visit to Birmingham.
His campaign told The Birmingham News (bit.ly/N2FUSJ) that about 350 tickets were sold to his private fundraiser Wednesday evening at The Club.
The tickets ranged from $1,000 per person to attend a reception to $25,000 for dinner with the candidate.
More than 75 people protested outside the event.
The protest was organized by the Immigrant Youth Leadership Initiative of Alabama.
