MEMPHIS, TN -

(WMC-TV) – Memphis mom, Lakeshia Richmond, will face a judge Monday on aggravated assault charges.  This comes after police say she attacked her children's little league coach with a baseball bat.

When officers arrived at a home in the 1800 block of Person on Saturday, Richmond told them that she had beaten the victim with a bat because he sexually assaulted her two kids.

Police say they have filed no charges against the victim. However, they are investigating the claims. Authorities say they found the victim "shirtless and bleeding from the head and face."

"Now my kids are suffering.  They're kind of scared to sleep at night," Richmond said. "That's not right."

But the victim's mom is singing another tune.

"That's not true cause my son is with children every weekend," said the victim's mother. "He has nieces, nephews…that's not true."

That coach is now in critical condition at the Med, and Richmond is out on a $10,000 bond.

She is set for a video arraignment at 9 a. m. Monday.
