Jam band, Phish, to stream video of sold out Birmingham concert

PELHAM, Ala. (AP) - The popular jam band Phish has an alternative for music fans who couldn't get a ticket to its show in metro Birmingham on Friday.

The band plans to show a live webcast of the sold-out concert at Oak Mountain Amphitheatre in Pelham. Not that it's free: Viewing the show in high definition will cost $15.

A similar webcast of 3 Phish shows in San Francisco was available online.

Phish hasn't performed in the Birmingham area since 1999.
