KEARNEY, MO (KCTV) -
A Kansas City woman's family and officers from five departments are searching for clues that could help them find out how the 23-year-old died.
Kearney police said they found the body of Nicoleon, or Nikki, Reed this week and are trying to figure out who or what killed her. She was last seen on or about Aug. 18 in the area of Independence Avenue and Denver in Kansas City, MO.
Authorities have released very little about what they know except that the investigation is ongoing.
The Kearney Police Department is working with The Clay County Sheriff's Officer on the investigation.
If anyone knows anything about Nicoleon Reed's death, they are urged to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS or the Clay County Sheriff's Despatch at 816-407-3700.
