ALBERTVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Rogue, the missing python in Albertville, was found in a creek Sunday near the owner's home.

Originally, owners of the Burmese Python had misidentified the snake, reporting that it had been found dead in a trash can in Boaz. But, Albertville Police Chief Doug Pollard said he received a call Sunday afternoon from a patrol supervisor that Rogue had been officially identified and located.

Rogue is alive and is now back with its owners.
