She's spent her entire teaching career at the same school, and for Piper Adams that's a good thing. Piper Adams has taught at Seth Johnson Elementary School for nine years. Right now she's teaching 5th grade. "I just love Seth Johnson," Adams said. "It's like my second home here. All of us teachers have the same goal, and that's to make sure every student succeeds."
Ms. Adams loves the classroom environment. "It's something I was born to do. I have three kids of my own and I love doing it."
A parent nominated her for the Class Act award, saying she goes above and beyond the call of duty and spends extra time after school tutoring her students. She just likes to see the smiles. "I like to have fun. We do lots of games and hands on stuff, and you can see how they absorb the material."
She's a leader in the classroom and a whole lot of fun. Congratulations Ms. Piper Adams from Seth Johnson Elementary School, this week's Class Act.
