A grand jury indicted a Huntsville man on fraud charges.
43-year-old
Christopher Bernard Graham was indicted on fraud in relation to
identification documents, two counts of unauthorized wearing of the U.S.
Army Combat Uniform, and eight counts of unauthorized wearing of U.S.
military badges.
The indictment stated Graham had a false id that
was illegally produced to appear as though it were issued under the
authority of the United States.
It also said he wore a U.S. Army
Combat Uniform from October 1, 2010 to April 20, 2011 and November 1,
2011 to April 1, 2012. He also wore during that period the Combat
Infantry Badge, the Army Ranger Tab, the Army Parachute Qualification
Badge and the Army Air Assault Qualification Badge.
If sentenced,
he faces a maximum of 15 years in prison and a $250,000 fine for fraud,
and six months in prison and a $5,000 fine for each of the other
charges.
