MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -
WSFA 12 News is partnering once again with the American Red Cross to raise funds for the victims of Hurricane Isaac.
Our staff is mobilizing a Disaster Relief For Hurricane Isaac phone bank today from 10:30 a.m. until 6:30 p.m.
We have a large phone bank set up here at our studios at 12 East Delano Avenue in Montgomery where a crew of volunteers will take your donations.
The phone number to call to donate is:
334-420-0212
All donations will go to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.
Checks should be made out to The American Red Cross and the memo section should include the words "Disaster Relief Fund".
The Red Cross is asking for generous donations in this relief drive because flooding is the most expensive disaster to mitigate. It impacts everything in its path.
We thank you for helping us live up to our promise of "Coverage, Community, Commitment".
