WETUMPKA, AL (WSFA) -
Wetumpka Police have confirmed that a vehicle
struck a power pole in front of the old Food World building on US Hwy. 231
South in Wetumpka.
The accident occurred around 1:15 p.m. Friday.
Alabama Power is on the scene repairing the
power line.
There were no known
injuries, but southbound traffic is backed up for over a mile toward Wetumpka and northbound
traffic is moving slowly near the accident.
