The National Weather Service has issued a TORNADO WATCH effective until 11:00pm for numerous Central Alabama counties. Those counties in the WSFA 12 News viewing area as of 6:00pm include:

WSFA 12 News has a crew en route to Selma where damage is being reported at this time, including numerous trees and power lines down. At least eight structures are said to have roof damage.
WSFA 12 News meteorologist Jeff Jumper is advising Biscuits Baseball fans traveling to Montgomery's Riverwalk Stadium to expect potent storms shorting. Those people should take cover soon.
