LINDALE, TX (KLTV) -
Workers at an automotive shop in Lindale got a scare Wednesday afternoon, after a vehicle went sliding into the shop on its side.
Lindale Police say a woman in her 20s was driving a white Dodge Charger southbound on Highway 69, when she clipped a tire on a passing trailer around 2:15 Wednesday afternoon.
The collision sent the woman and her vehicle off the roadway, where she struck a culvert, pushing the Charger onto its side. The vehicle slid on its side all the way into a garage of Medder's Brakes and Alignment off of Highway 69 in Lindale.
First responders had to pull the woman from her vehicle; she was pinned inside for about 45 minutes.
Officials say the young woman was taken by ambulance to Trinity Mother Frances. The extent of her injuries is unknown.
Emergency crews are still working to clear the scene, and motorists are advised to avoid the area, as traffic is moving slowly.
