Semi vs. minivan crash claims the life of a Marbury man - WSFA.com: News Weather and Sports for Montgomery, AL.

Alabama State Troopers were called to the scene of a fatal accident in Autauga County around 4 p.m. today.

Authorities say two vehicles, a tractor-trailer and a minivan were involved in a wreck on U.S. 31 near five miles west of Marbury. One person was pronounced dead at the scene.

Curtis Frank Bailey, 58 of Marbury, was killed when the 2001 Dodge Caravan he was driving collided with a 2006 Peterbilt tractor-trailer driven by Randy Edwards of Salem.

Edwards was transported to Baptist South for treatment and was later released.

No further information is available as troopers continue to investigate.
