TUSCALOOSA, AL (WBRC) -

Alabama head football coach Nick Saban was much less argumentative with the media Wednesday night than he was a week ago.

Saban spoke to reporters after practice Wednesday where he said he was pleased with the team's efforts.

"I'm pleased with the way guys have practiced this week," Saban said. "They have improved in areas we have shown some deficiencies in."

The Alabama Crimson Tide (2-0) will face the Arkansas Razorbacks (1-1) in Fayetteville. Saban said Arkansas is a good team and will challenge Alabama.

"It is a game we are really looking forward to," Saban said.

A week ago, Saban criticized the media for being presumptous as the Crimson Tide prepared to play Western Kentucky.  Alabama won that game 35-0 on Saturday.

Saban said Wednesday he is pleased with the offense, especially the offensive line.

"We've run the ball effectively, which is our image as a team," Saban said. "The offensive line is doing a good job."

Kickoff for Saturday's game against Arkansas is at 2:30 p.m. CT in Fayetteville, AR.
