MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -
Alabama State Troopers are confirming that a minor, two-vehicle wreck is causing very heavy traffic in the northbound lanes of Interstate 85 at this hour.
The accident is near the Waugh exit at mile maker 17.
Traffic is backed up for at least seven miles from MM 10 to MM 17.
Authorities are working to clear the area, but say it's going to take a few minutes to do so.
Commuters in the northbound lanes should expect heavy delays at this time.
