Lockdown lifted at 4 EBR Parish schools after LSU bomb threat

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

According to officials with the East Baton Rouge Parish School system, school lockdowns have been lifted for four schools in the LSU area.

Schools will be dismissed at the regular times at Buchanan Elementary, McKinley High School, Polk Elementary and University Terrace Elementary.

The strictly precautionary measure was taken at the schools due to the bomb threat at LSU Monday morning.

All school and after school activities and schedules continue now as planned at those sites.
