MONTGOMERY, AL (WBRC) -
Governor Robert Bentley says he is looking at possible retirement incentives for state employees and teachers.
The governor says the state could cut its expenses by $82-million if 1,500 employees retired.
Bentley says new teachers would have to be hired to replace retiring ones. He says the new employees would be younger teachers making less pay than veteran educators.
