Pedestrian killed on N. Blvd. now identified - WSFA.com: News Weather and Sports for Montgomery, AL.

The victim in Tuesday evening's fatal pedestrian accident is being identified.

Jeffery Dan Johnston, 56, was killed at approximately 7:20pm while trying to cross the intersection of Northern Boulevard at Coliseum Boulevard.

Mr. Johnston was struck by a pickup truck while attempting to cross the road. Authorities pronounced him deceased on the scene a short time later.

The driver of the truck was not injured.

This is the 16th traffic fatality in Montgomery for 2012.
