Scottsboro High football player reaches suspension agreement

SCOTTSBORO, AL (WAFF) -

A Scottsboro High football player who filed suit over suspension time for an early September altercation has reached a settlement with the school.

Madison Estes will sit out two quarters in the homecoming game against Brewer in October.

Estes agreed to a one quarter, first game suspension for the altercation.

But 10 days later, school officials demanded a full game suspension, and Estes sued.

The agreement also stipulates he can participate in all homecoming activities.
