CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green has been named the AFC's offensive player of the month for September.

Green had 428 yards on 27 catches and three touchdowns in the first four games of the season.

Green's 428 yards is second only to Brian Hartline of the Dolphins, who has 455. The Dolphins come to Cincinnati on Sunday.

Green is the first Bengals AFC Offensive Player of the month since quarterback Carson Palmer won it in September of 2005.
