Phoenix police said they are looking for a man identified as an investigative lead in two armed robberies near Phoenix-Sky Harbor International Airport.
Police said that just before 2 a.m. on Sept. 10 and Sept. 14, respectively, numerous victims reported they were robbed at gunpoint at 1580 E. Pima St.
Officers said they believe the suspects waited for their victims outside the business complex until closing time and robbed them in the parking lot. They produced their guns only when the victims refused to turn over their wallets and other property.
One suspect reportedly carried a sawed-off shotgun and the other a handgun. One of the victims said the suspects pressed the barrel of the shotgun to his chest.
Police found a vehicle believed to be used by the suspects, and their investigation led to a photo of the investigative lead, described as a Hispanic man, 18 to 25 years old.
Anyone with information about the crime or the investigative lead is asked to call the Phoenix Police Robbery Unit at 602-262-6141.
