TUCSON, AZ (AP) -
Authorities say two more Pima County Jail corrections officers have been arrested in connection with a fight outside a Tucson bar fight last month.
Tucson police previously arrested five county jail officers in what was described as an unprovoked attack on four people outside the Buffet Bar on Sept. 19. All five of those officers have been fired from their jail jobs.
Police announced 33-year-old Sgt. Yvonne Davis and 23-year-old Mark Bret were taken into custody Thursday on suspicion of hindering prosecution.
Detectives claim Davis transported one of the suspects away from the scene and wasn't forthcoming with investigators when questioned about the incident.
Police say Bret allegedly drove one of the suspects away from the bar, failed to intervene during the assault and didn't render aid to the victims.
