The tornado, with winds up to 200 mph, cut a 20-mile stretch as wide as two miles through the Oklahoma City metro area. The medical examiner's office reported 24 people died, including nine children. More >>

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -
As of 8:30pm, Interstate 65 south of Montgomery is once again reopened following a six vehicle crash that included two 18-wheelers that occurred Friday afternoon.
The crash, near Hwy. 80 exit to Selma, forced all lanes in both directions closed. The interstate was blocked and traffic was very congested for several hours.
Authorities say the collision resulted in a fuel spill onto the interstate. That spill was ultimately contained.
One person is said to be suffering from minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital.
The cause of the crash is unknown and an investigation is ongoing.
