Faith Brasseaux presents the story of Kamryn and her quest to find the stolen Migweh Emerald and return it to the 9D World
Youngsville, LA (PRWEB) October 07, 2012
Kamryn was always a lively, demanding little sprite of a girl. Her big, brown eyes with long, flowing lashes and her beautiful brown, curly hair almost always caught the attention of her mom and dad’s friends. However, she was often misunderstood when she was thought to be having an attitude problem. Before Kamryn was old enough to be considered having intellectual needs, she became labeled a problem child. She just didn’t know how to get her needs understood. She was no ordinary little girl by any means.
Kamryn written by Faith Brasseaux is a fantasy tale about a young girl who has always been treated like a baby in the family and is longing for the time she could show them all how smart she really is. She began her plan for the science fair which is suppose to end the baby treatment. But things did not turn out the way she wanted it to be. Her friends sabotaged her science project, she lost her homework and papers that are vital part of her project after she got caught by a sudden downpour in the park across her home. When she makes it home and to her room, a whole new world opens up to her when she meets a Scrabbit, a half-squirrel and a half-rabbit.
Little did she know, a secret is waiting to unfold for her young life. Reese, the Scrabbit who lives in the ninth world told her that the Migweh Emerald from their National Museaum was stolen. He seeks the help of Kamryn to find it before time runs out. Kamryn is the chosen one, the bearer of the Shamma Star which is an emblem of destination. Reese’s world is falling apart and Kamryn is their only hope. He takes her to the entire D worlds (6th to 9th) where she thought were only in her imagination but actually, had some reality to it. What secrets are waiting to unfold right before Kamryn’s very eyes? Will she be able to help Reese find the stolen Migweh Emerald? Will she be able to get back home?
Kamryn is one exhilarating and entertaining read children and adults are sure to enjoy. This story will take readers into a world of fantasy, meet some delightfully exotic characters, discovers a long kept family secret, and learns about true freindship in an alternate reality that will set the pattern for the rest of Kamryn’s life.
