Auburn in the NFL - Week 5

Auburn entered the 2012 season with 28 alumni on National Football League rosters, the eighth-best total among college football programs.

Devin Aromashodu
(WR, Minnesota Vikings)   

Totaled 34 yards on three receptions in Sunday's 30-7 win over Tennessee. Aromashodu now has nine receptions for 138 yards this season, his fifth in the NFL and second with the Vikings.

Rob Bironas       
(PK, Tennessee Titans)

Hit his only extra point attempt of the day as the Titans fell 30-7 to Minnesota. Bironas has hit 6-of-8 field goal attempts this season.

Ronnie Brown  
(RB, San Diego Chargers)

Totaled 74 yards on seven touches, including a long rush of 21 yards. Brown also caught a pass for 11 yards. He has played in 96 games in his career with more than 4,900 rushing yards and 49 touchdowns.

Jason Campbell
(QB, Chicago Bears)

Did not play, but served as backup quarterback for Chicago's 41-3 win over the Jaguars. Campbell is in his sixth NFL season after being selected in the first round by Washington in 2005. He has passed for more than 14,000 yards in his career with 74 touchdowns.

Karlos Dansby  
(LB, Miami Dolphins)

Five tackles in Miami's 17-13 win over the Bengals. A nine-year veteran, Dansby has 37 tackles in five games this season and more than 700 stops in his career. He's one of just four active NFL players with at least 30 sacks and 10 interceptions.

Tristan Davis     
(RB, Washington Redskins)

Will miss the 2012 season after being placed on injured reserve on September 3.

King Dunlap      
(OT, Philadelphia Eagles)

Returned from injury to see playing time at left tackle for Philadelphia in a 16-14 loss to Pittsburgh. He's played in three games this season with two starts after missing two games due to a hamstring injury. Dunlap has played in 41 games in four seasons with nine starts.

Nick Fairley       
(DT, Detroit Lions)

The Lions were on bye for week five. The 13th overall pick in 2011, Fairley has played in 13 games in two seasons with the Lions.

Mario Fannin    
(RB, Denver Broncos)

Will miss the 2012 season after being placed on injured reserve with a knee injury on August 8.

Tyronne Green
(OG, San Diego Chargers)

Started at guard as the Chargers fell 31-24 to New Orleans on Sunday Night Football. Green has played in 33 games in his career and started 20.

Quentin Groves              
(LB, Arizona Cardinals)

Saw snaps on defense and special teams in a 17-3 loss to St. Louis on Thursday night. Groves is in his first season in Arizona and fifth overall in the NFL. He has totaled 116 tackles in his career with 4.5 sacks and two interceptions.

Ben Grubbs       
(OG, New Orleans Saints)

Started at guard and helped the Saints roll up more than 400 yards of total offense in a 31-24 win over San Diego. Grubbs has played in 79 games in his six-year career with 75 starts. He has started in every game he has played since 2008.

Josh Harris         
(DS, Atlanta Falcons)

Served as long snapper and helped Atlanta improved to 5-0 on the season with a 24-17 win over the Redskins.

Will Herring      
(LB, New Orleans Saints)

Saw snaps in New Orleans' 32-21 win over the Chargers. Herring has totaled 127 tackles in his six-year career.

Brandon Jacobs               
(RB, San Francisco 49ers)

Missed his fifth game for the 49ers with a knee injury as San Francisco defeated Buffalo 45-3. Jacobs is an eight year NFL veteran and is in his first year with the 49ers after seven seasons with the New York Giants, including two Super Bowl victories.

Spencer Johnson            
(DE, Buffalo Bills)

Saw action on the defensive line in a 45-3 loss to the 49ers. Johnson has four tackles this season and 288 total in his nine-year career.

Pat Lee
(DB, Oakland Raiders)

Oakland was on bye for week five. Lee has played in all four games this season with three starts. He has recorded 14 tackles and three break ups.

Sen'Derrick Marks         
(DT, Tennessee Titans)

Started at defensive tackle and recorded a pair of tackles in the Titans' 30-7 loss to Minnesota.  Marks has played in 40 games in his four-year career with 15 starts.

Brandon Mosley             
(OG, New York Giants)

Will miss the 2012 season after being placed on injured reserve on August 27 with an ankle injury.

Cam Newton    
(QB, Carolina Panthers)

Completed 12-of-29 passes for 141 yards and rushed for 42 yards on seven carries as the Panthers fell to Seattle 16-12.  Newton has now thrown for 1,154 yards with four touchdowns and rushed for 209 yards with three scores in his second season after being drafted with the top overall pick in 2011. Newton has 42 total touchdowns in 21 career games.

Ben Obomanu  
(WR, Seattle Seahawks)

Had one carry for 11 yards in Seattle's 16-12 win over Carolina. Obomanu has played in 63 games and totaled 81 receptions for 1,159 yards with seven touchdowns in his six-year career, all with the Seahawks.

Jerraud Powers
(DB, Indianapolis Colts)

Had four solo tackles, including his first interception of the season in the Colts' come-from-behind win 30-27 over Green Bay. Powers has started all 38 games in his career and registered 191 tackles with six interceptions in four seasons.

Jay Ratliff           
(DT, Dallas Cowboys)

Dallas was on bye for week five. Ratliff is in his eighth season, all with Dallas. He has started 78 games with 212 tackles and 27.0 sacks.

Carlos Rogers   
(DB, San Francisco 49ers)

Rogers had three tackles as San Francisco cruised to a 45-3 win over the Bills. In his eighth season after being drafted No. 9 overall by Washington in 2005, Rogers has 13 tackles in 2012. He's started all but three of the 87 games he played in since 2006 and was a 2011 Pro Bowl and All-Pro selection.

Pat Sims              
(DT, Cincinnati Bengals)

Currently on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list with an ankle injury. A five-year veteran, Sims has played in 52 games with 23 starts. He is yet to play in 2012.

Takeo Spikes    
(LB, San Diego Chargers)

Had three tackles in San Diego's 31-24 loss to New Orleans on Sunday night. Spikes has recorded 1,379 tackles in his 15 seasons in the NFL, the last two with San Diego.

Ben Tate             
(RB, Houston Texans)

Missed Houston's Monday Night Football 23-17 win over the Jets with a toe injury. Tate has 117 yards rushing and two touchdowns this season.

Lee Ziemba       
(OT, Carolina Panthers)

Will miss the 2012 season after being placed on injured reserve on September 3 with a knee injury.
