BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) -
Gene Chizik says Auburn's loss to Ole Miss on Saturday was tough, but the Tigers plan on moving forward.
"I'm going to give a lot of credit to Ole Miss. They have a very good football team," said Chizik as he began to his statement to the media.
Chizik says he thought his team missed out on their chance to win in the 4th quarter.
"We had some very unique things happen in the 4th quarter," said Chizik. "We didn't capitalize on the things we needed to do."
Chizik says the team won't focus on the loss. He says Auburn will begin to prepare for Vanderbilt.
"We'll keep working. It's a tough loss for us. Gotta find a way to come back this week and win our first SEC game," said Chizik.
