Two SEC teams again hold the top two spots in the BCS standings.
No. 1 Alabama and No. 2 Florida top the charts in the first BCS National Championship standings released Sunday night.
Oregon comes in third, with Kansas State fourth, and Notre Dame 5th.
The Crimson Tide and Gators, both 6-0, do not play each other this season but could meet in the SEC Championship Game if both win out.
Despite being ranked third in the Harris Poll and fourth in the Harris poll, Florida got a boost to the second spot by having the nation's best average computer ranking. Notre Dame was second in the computer rankings.
The rest of the top ten features 6. LSU, 7. South Carolina, 8. Oregon State, 9. Oklahoma, 10. USC.
With Georgia at the number 11 spot and Mississippi State 12th, the SEC has six teams in the top 12.
