SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A ghost hunting trip in Spartanburg landed a Spartanburg man in jail on drug charges, police said.

Spartanburg Public Safety officers said they saw three men hanging out near a truck parked at Oakwood Cemetery on Saturday night.

Officers said the men told them they were hoping to see ghosts.

After noticing unopened alcohol in the vehicle, one officer asked to search the truck. Police said they found methamphetamine making equipment and what appeared to be methamphetamine inside the truck and in one of the men's pockets.

The police report said the suspect, identified as 36-year-old Marvin Willis, allowed officers to search him and his truck and eventually told them the materials found were used in the shake and bake method of making methamphetamine.

Police said they arrested Willis and were seeking a warrant for manufacturing methamphetamine. The other two men were not charged.
