The Alabama Department of Public Safety says a woman was killed in the early morning hours of Sunday after being involved in a single vehicle accident.
30-year-old Staci Terese Wright, of Marion, was killed when her vehicle overturned after striking a tree. Wright was driving a 2002 Infinity on Perry County 48 around 2:40 a.m.
Troopers say Wright's seatbelt was not in use. The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
