BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) -
Auburn head coach Gene Chizik says the Tigers will work to figure out how to close up winnable games.
"I feel like this was another example of us having a chance at winning a game at the end of the game. We couldn't close the door on it," said Chizik in his postgame news conference.
Chizik says he felt like keeping the game so close would have allowed Auburn to pull out the win. He also said he felt like his players fought to the end of the game, despite coming up short.
"We're going to keep fighting. Again, I'm proud that our guys kept fighting and playing in the game."
