Hazel Green, AL (WAFF) -

The body of Warren Crutcher was found in Madison County Tuesday morning. He was the person of interest in four Lincoln County, Tennessee murders.

Utility crews found the body in the woods off B H Reeves Road on the Alabama-Tennessee state line.

Three women and a child were found dead at two separate crime scenes near Fayetteville Monday. A man was murdered in Huntsville early Tuesday morning, and investigators said that case is connected to the other murders. They have not said how they are connected.

Sources said two of the women found dead in Tennessee were not stabbed, shot, or beaten to death, but would not confirm how they were killed.

Crutcher was severely beaten and shot execution style before his body was dumped in the woods, according to the source.

No suspects have been named in any of the murder investigations.
