BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBRC) -
Birmingham police are piecing together details of the city's latest homicide. It happened around 8:50 p.m. Monday.
Officers stopped a speeding car that ran a red light on Woodland Avenue. Police found four people inside the car, and one was suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim died after being transported to UAB Hospital.
The victim has been identified as 19-year-old Rodney Johnson of Birmingham.
Authorities have not determined where the shooting took place. Police have not made any arrests yet in the case.
