Luverne Elementary Teacher a Class Act

LUVERNE, AL (WSFA) -

Ms. Susan Walden is a fixture here at Luverne Elementary School.  The 6th grade teacher has been here for 24 years and she loves what she does.   "This is a job where every day is different, it's never boring," Walden said.

When it came time to choose a profession, she had some help.    "My father is very family oriented, and said if you want to have a family one day, be a teacher, because you can be with your children.   Little did I know he picked the perfect profession."

As for the best part of her job, Ms. Walden says she loves the interaction with the kids everyday.  And they love it too.  Congratulations Ms. Susan Walden from Luverne Elementary School, this week's Class Act.
