CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -
A number of powerboats and sailboats sank or were damaged by super storm Sandy at Whiskey Island Marina.
The docks were shredded by the wind and waves too.
The Marina's manager says some boaters waited just a little too long to get their boats out of the water. He said just about every boat docked there took some sort of hit.
Seven or 8 boats sank and about 80% of Whiskey Island sustained damage.
