COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

A bond has been set for the Columbus mother and her boyfriend accused of sending one-year-old Travis Williamson to the hospital.

The prosecution claimed that Devonte Tyner shook the child out of anger, when his head hit the bed post. They say this caused the internal bleeding and cracked skull.

Tyner himself admitted he did shake the child, but because he thought he was in cardiac arrest.

His bond for the battery charge was set at $100,000 and $10,000 for the child cruelty charge. The mother, Deserae Williamson, has a bond set at $5,000 for her reckless conduct charge.

Travis Williamson is still in the hospital.
