OPELIKA, AL (WTVM) -
An East Alabama man was found dead in front of a house in Opelika Saturday morning and authorities need your help finding his killer.
Police said very little is known about 21-year-old Jarron Holloway, but what they do know is that someone shot him and left him for dead.
He was found laying in the front yard of a home on the 100 block of south 3rd street around 1:40 a.m. Saturday.
Coroner Bill Harris tells News Leader 9 it was a single gunshot wound to the leg that claimed Holloway's life; when authorities arrived on the scene, he was already dead.
Holloway is being sent to Montgomery for an autopsy.
Opelika police are investigating this case as a homicide.
Many of the neighbors we spoke with declined to comment about the murder, some stating they didn't even hear gunshots.
However, anyone with information about the shooting should contact the Opelika Police Department's Investigation Unit at (334) 705-5220.
