COBB COUNTY, GA (CBS ATLANTA) -
A pilot was forced to make an emergency landing on Interstate 575 near Barrett Parkway in Cobb County on Sunday afternoon.
Kathleen Bergen, spokeswoman for the Federal Aviation Administration, said the pilot reported that the plane lost engine power.
The Hawker Beechcraft BE35 aircraft, registration N6101V, made the emergency landing about a mile away from the McCollum field, where it was scheduled to land.
Three people were on board. No one was hurt in the landing.
