Results are in for the U.S. House of Representatives race in the 3rd Congressional District. With all the counties reporting, Incumbent Sanford Bishop won with 64% of the votes, while challenger John House raked in 36% of the votes. The multi-county seat covers 29 counties in Georgia.
Voters in Muscogee County for the most part favored Incumbent Sanford Bishop. Here is a breakdown of the results in Muscogee County only:
