Phoenix ranks as the number two place in the nation for veterans to live.

That's according to a new study commissioned by USAA and Military.com.

The "Best Places for Veterans" list identifies metro areas that offer veterans recently out of combat the most opportunities to find a job or go to college in an affordable location.

Here's the Top 10:

  1. Pittsburgh
  2. Phoenix
  3. Dallas
  4. Cleveland
  5. Atlanta
  6. Warren, MI
  7. Ann Arbor, MI
  8. Cincinnati
  9. Columbus, OH
  10. St. Louis
