MESA, AZ (CBS5) -

Mesa Police are searching for a tall, white man who they believe could be responsible for setting five cars on fire overnight.

The incidents occurred between 12:30 a.m. and 2:45 a.m. at apartment complexes in the area near University and Dobson Road.

A motive for the crimes is yet to be established.

Anyone with any information about these incidents is encouraged to call the Mesa Police Department.
