MELBOURNE, FL.- (WALB) -
The Darton women's soccer team had improved greatly since a 2-0 loss to #1 Brevard in September.
Unfortunately, the Lady Cavaliers had not improved enough in Wednesday morning's rematch with the Titans in the NJCAA Division I tournament.
Brevard scores four second half goals to defeat the Lady Cavaliers 5-1.
The match was tied at half and Brevard got what proved to be the go ahead goal early in the second half.
The Titans added an insurance goal with 21:41 left in regulation and then picked up two more goals in the closing minutes.
Brevard advances to Friday's semifinal game.
Darton women finish the season 14-6.
