MASSILLON, OH (WOIO) -
A local coach, accused of hiding video cameras inside the boys locker room at his school, has resigned.
Cops arrested Scott D. Studer, the Jackson High School freshman basketball coach, Wednesday. He's accused of installing the cameras, which focused on the shower area, to invade the privacy of the boys freshmen basketball team.
Detectives searched the 46-year old's Massillon home and found that he possessed inappropriate material of naked minors, a second degree felony.
Studer also served as a Building Aid for the high school. He resigned from both positions immediately after his arrest.
He's being held in the Stark County Jail on eight counts of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material.
If you have any information regarding the incident call Chief Zink or Lieutenant Mitchell at the Jackson Twp. Police Department (330) 834-3960.
