CORDELE, GA (WALB) -

Crisp Academy pitcher Jordan Howard says he knew early in high school that he wanted to play baseball at Georgia Southern.

His dream came true Wednesday.

The hard throwing righthander signed his scholarship in front of family and classmates at the Crisp Academy gym.

Howard has a fastball clocked in the low 90's.

His fastball and bat are a big reason Crisp Academy has made three straight appearances in the GISA finals.

Winning a state title two years ago.

Howard's older brother Keegan is a volunteer assistant coach at Georgia Southern.

That is where Jordan decided he wanted to be an Eagle.

"I always like watching the baseball games. Fell in love with everything over there. Hopefully, play a fair percentage. Make it to the College World Series. Put a ring on our fingers" , said Jordan Howard.

Howard was selected to play in the Perfect Game All-Star game this summer.
