Alabama coach Anthony Grant has signed center Jimmie Taylor and forward Shannon Hale to national letters of intent.

The 6-foot-10 Taylor is the cousin of former Tide standout and 2002 SEC player of the year Erwin Dudley. Rivals.com rates him as the nation's No. 6 center and 30th-best prospect.

The two-time first-team Class 3A all-state pick has led Greensboro High School to back-to-back Alabama state titles, coming within a blocked shot of a triple-double in the 2011 championship game.

Hale is a 6-8, 200-pound power forward from Johnson City, Tenn. Rivals lists him as a four-star recruit by rivals.com and the No. 93 overall prospect.

Hale transferred to North Carolina's Christ School before his junior season. He averaged 15.4 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.5 blocks last season.
