MercyMe concert, Whitney Houston tribute, Forgotten Carols performance, today on Alabama Live

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

Today on Alabama Tonya and Judd will talk with the promoters and coordinators of a number of upcoming events in the area including the Baptist Health Care Foundation's MercyMe concert, Alabama State University's second annual Whitney Houston Tribute and The Davis Theatre's performance of The Forgotten Carols.

Also on the show today are stories about the 57th anniversary of the Montgomery Bus Boycott, the kick-off of the holiday shopping season at Eastchase, and Sydney Lanier High School's 2012 Grand Reunion.

There will be live shots from our Weather Radio Day, happening today in Union Springs, our Humane Society Adoptable Pet, and a special appearance by a few ambitious young people at the end of the show.
